– Strength: 61.7% abv alcohol

– Nose: The peat smoke is barely noticeable. Buttery caramel and butterscotch mingle with vanilla right up front. Fresh baked sugar cookies with lemon frosting solidify the dessert-like quality of the whisky.
– Taste: The mouthfeel is velvety with a touch of oil. The heat from the ABV builds, so it is not so overwhelming. The malt really stands out with cracked black pepper. Dried oak lingers on the tongue for the finish.
– Finish: Medium-long finish, very dry and spicy. The smoky note remains in the glass for a very long time, cushioned by a little vanilla and honey.
